Production Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee plant production activities and set standards to meet production and quality requirements.
• Ensure production schedules and contractual commitments are met.
• Lead continuous improvement meetings and maintain an environment that supports productivity, throughput, and conflict resolution.
• Create and manage budgets, approve expenditures, and control operations within budget.
• Direct Production Supervisors and Team Representatives to support employee involvement.
• Coordinate methods and procedures that reduce manufacturing costs.

Requirements

• Six or more years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience with production scheduling.
• Ability to implement and drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Management-level experience in heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing.
