Field Robotics Technician (Robotics)

Location: Seoul, South Korea; hybrid workplace with occasional travel within Korea to customer sites.

What you will do

• Maintain and operate robotic systems, workstations, conveyors, and associated equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and monitor system health.
• Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and on-site, responding to critical situations when required.
• Maintain the Seoul demonstration center and support demonstrations, testing, and proof-of-concept projects.
• Support installations, commissioning, upgrades, and deployments with customers and integration partners.
• Maintain service documentation and reporting while occasionally traveling to customer sites in Korea.

Requirements

• First professional experience in maintenance, field service, automation, robotics, mechatronics, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of automation systems, robotics, industrial equipment, or conveyors.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, independent working, and prioritization skills.
• Korean language proficiency required.
• Ability to read and communicate in English required. A technical degree or vocational qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated warehouse systems, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, industrial networks, or control systems.
• Customer support or field service experience.
• Experience collaborating with system integrators.
