Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote setup in Spain, with the option to collaborate from the Berlin office.

Salary: €60,000–€65,000 gross/year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines across services and environments.
• Operate serverless and cloud-native workloads including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and EventBridge.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing with CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry.
• Strengthen cloud infrastructure security, access management, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams on deployment workflows, developer experience, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Solid experience with Terraform, GitLab CI, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language.
• Experience operating production systems and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Security-minded approach to cloud infrastructure and access management, with proactive use of AI tools for engineering productivity, automation, documentation, troubleshooting, and decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments, especially GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or STACKIT.
