Cloud Engineer – Deployment and Support

What you will do

• Deploy and operate enterprise infrastructure across AWS and Azure, including landing zones, networks, compute, Kubernetes, databases, storage, and PaaS services.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Provide L2/L3 incident and problem management, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to root-cause analyses.
• Plan and govern infrastructure changes through the Change Advisory Board, including risk assessment and rollback procedures.
• Build observability by onboarding infrastructure into Datadog and Splunk, defining alerts, and creating health dashboards.
• Apply security and compliance controls including hardening, least-privilege access, patch compliance, and vulnerability remediation.

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in large-scale, global, multi-vendor environments.
• Proficiency with AWS or Azure across compute, networking, storage, identity, and PaaS, plus hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent tools, and scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, ITIL/ITSM, Datadog, and Splunk.
• English is required; additional languages are advantageous.

• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
