Architecture Managing Consultant

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires being in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week, with assignments potentially requiring up to 5 days per week on client site.

What you will do

• Shape and launch new service propositions while supporting strategic business growth.
• Lead architecture and development teams delivering end-to-end solutions for complex client challenges.
• Advise FTSE 100 clients on architectural and digital transformation challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and translate technical insight into business value.
• Lead business development activities, including pre-sales, proposal development, and client engagement.
• Coach team members, share knowledge, and create opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience leading architecture and development teams on complex solutions.
• Strong understanding of at least one industry vertical.
• Ability to shape and communicate architectural strategies across application, business, and integration domains.
• Experience building senior stakeholder relationships and contributing to business development.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks and modelling tools such as UML and ArchiMate.
• Established senior stakeholder network in the financial services sector.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM, Oracle, or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of microservices, packaged solutions, cloud-native architectures, cloud and on-premise models, agile delivery, digital transformation, or IoT.
