Technical Security Architect (Cloud Security)

Location: Hampshire, United Kingdom; 5 days per week onsite. Candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and meet applicable UK Government and contractual personnel security, residency, and potentially nationality requirements.

What you will do

• Design and deliver security architectures across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and air-gapped environments.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs, architecture patterns, and data-flow diagrams.
• Lead the refresh, migration, and modernisation of IAM, PAM, firewalls, EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, and cloud security tooling.
• Evaluate security technologies through proofs of concept and proofs of value, making evidence-based recommendations.
• Apply Zero Trust, defence-in-depth, threat-informed design, and secure platform architecture principles.
• Act as a security design authority while collaborating with enterprise, infrastructure, network, and application architects.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Technical Security Architect, Security Architect, or Senior Security Engineer.
• Strong expertise in IAM, network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and secure platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security architecture.
• Experience delivering security technology refresh, migration, or modernisation programmes and producing detailed architecture documentation.
• Understanding of threat modelling, risk, security architecture principles, and complex regulated or formally accredited environments.
• CISSP or equivalent, plus TOGAF and/or SABSA; strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zero Trust, DevSecOps, MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM, PAM, Kubernetes or container security, PKI, and security automation.
