Product Manager, Safe Change & Control Plane

Location: Hybrid, based in London or Austin. Candidates who reach the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

What you will do

• Define the product vision and roadmap for Safe Change across hirify.global’s control plane.
• Develop capabilities for configuration previews, staged and gradual rollouts, monitoring, verification, versioning, segmentation, and rapid rollback.
• Represent internal and external customers, build customer relationships, and translate feedback into use cases and prioritized requirements.
• Make data-driven prioritization decisions, define success metrics, and track product adoption and safety outcomes.
• Align engineering, product, support, operations, and go-to-market stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Turn deployment safety patterns into reusable platform capabilities adopted by multiple product teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with safe change, deployment decisions based on data, or a closely related technology domain.
• Understanding of distributed systems and deployment scaling strategies.
• Experience with complex datasets and tools such as SQL, Postgres, and Prometheus.
• Experience with telemetry pipelines, metrics, traces, and modern observability platforms.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, consensus-building, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with deployment platforms, release engineering, progressive delivery, feature flags, GitOps, infrastructure as code, or incident management.
• Background in networking, security, CDN, edge computing, observability, or large-scale SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, CLIs, telemetry tools, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers with strict change-management, compliance, or data-residency requirements.
• BS/MS in a technology- or business-related field.
