Software Engineer (Azure Cloud)

Location: Cork, Ireland; hybrid working with in-office and/or in-person expectations

What you will do

• Develop and operate cloud-scale distributed systems for Azure hirify.global Files.
• Build solutions spanning storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, and user experience.
• Contribute to automated validation, performance optimization, operational readiness, and service reliability.
• Design and operate microservices-based applications using Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD practices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
• Apply AI-native engineering practices and own solutions from design through production.

Requirements

• Python experience for test automation, validation frameworks, tooling, CI/CD integration, or operational automation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs or service-to-service integrations.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating microservices with Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of automated testing, performance optimization, security, observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational excellence.
• Experience with cloud-native distributed systems in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; 0+ years of related experience accepted.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C, C++, Go, React, TypeScript, or C#.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and an analytical approach to problem solving.
