Senior Manager, Regulatory Strategy & Operations (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead strategic regulatory projects across EMEA from problem definition through implementation, tracking, and benefits realization.
• Translate regulatory priorities into delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, owners, decision points, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate initiatives across Regulatory Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Legal, Risk, Financial Crime Compliance, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
• Establish governance structures, including steering committees, working groups, reporting, risk management, escalation, and decision tracking.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations, inspections, audits, information requests, and supervisory engagements.
• Develop dashboards, management information, executive materials, and recommendations while improving delivery efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading complex strategic, regulatory, compliance, risk, transformation, or operational programmes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed, international organisation.
• Strong project and programme management skills, including governance, dependency management, risk management, issue resolution, and delivery tracking.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop practical recommendations, and translate strategy into executable plans.
• Strong communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, technology, or another highly regulated industry.

Nice to have

• Strategy or management consulting experience, or comparable internal strategy, transformation, or programme management experience.
• Experience with regulatory change, compliance transformation, licensing, market entry, regulatory engagement, or operating-model initiatives.
• Familiarity with regulatory obligations, controls, reporting, governance, risk frameworks, or GRC tooling.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, information requests, or supervisory engagements.
• Relevant qualification in business, finance, economics, law, risk, compliance, operations, or project management.
