XPLORER 2027 Optimization of Critical Path and Missing Parts Flow (AI)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain. Part-time onsite curricular practicum from February to July 2027, 5 hours per day and 25 hours per week, from 8:00 to 13:00.

What you will do

• Improve the end-to-end material flow and analyze its impact on overall production planning.
• Perform deep dives into build processes and critical paths.
• Replan production based on missing-parts impacts.
• Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities across the end-to-end process.
• Predict stock-outs and adapt deliveries to shortages and production-process changes.
• Connect the project with parallel Big Data and AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently studying an Engineering degree and completing the final year.
• English at minimum B2 level; C1 is desirable.
• Spanish at minimum B1 level.
• General knowledge of aeronautics and production.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and openness to collaboration.
• Ability to work in an international environment and as part of a team.
