QA Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Manchester city centre, with 1–2 days per week in the office. Relocation support is available for the right person.

hirify.global is building an AI operating system for pharmacy that streamlines prior authorizations, paperwork, and care coordination for specialty pharmacies and healthcare systems.

What you will do

• Help shape the UK QA practice by developing frameworks, standards, and day-to-day working practices.
• Write automated tests with Playwright and test APIs using Postman across a serverless Node, TypeScript, SvelteKit, and GCP stack.
• Test AI-powered production features, including agentic workflows and LLM outputs, and help build evaluations for their behavior.
• Perform manual testing, regression testing, and UAT when automation is not the best approach.
• Work closely with engineers to identify issues early and protect product quality during rapid delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing.
• Experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Strong Playwright experience and sound judgment about when to automate versus test manually.
• Experience with enterprise products and an understanding of the impact of production issues.
• Experience using AI in the testing workflow or testing AI-powered products.
• Availability to work in a hybrid setup in Manchester, attending the office 1–2 days per week.
