QA Engineer - FTC (VoD)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with a mixture of home and office work

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end test automation, including framework development, test coverage expansion, and continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, reusable, and scalable automated test scripts.
• Perform manual testing across iOS, Android, web, and TV applications when required.
• Develop utilities, mocks, and supporting tools to improve automation efficiency.
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and provide clear, actionable documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and cross-functional squads working on the U VoD app.

Requirements

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks with JavaScript tools such as Mocha and Playwright or similar.
• Experience creating automated test strategies and scalable test solutions.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, proactively create test scenarios, and contribute to continuous improvement.
