Customer Journey Expert - Operational Readiness (Banking)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements for regulatory reporting, risk management, and business decision-making.
• Support data onboarding, data management, and data quality initiatives across the organization.
• Perform data mapping, validation, and reconciliation using SQL, including functional and technical source-to-target mappings.
• Maintain data definitions, business terms, and logical and conceptual data models.
• Participate in UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, report development, and business-rule configuration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data management, data onboarding, data quality, data mapping, validation, reconciliation, requirements management, UAT, and regression testing.
• Experience in banking, finance, risk, or regulatory reporting environments; knowledge of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Information Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working and strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with FINREP or other regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Understanding of retail banking products from an accounting and reporting perspective.
