Senior Full-Stack Developer (Node.js + React)

Location: Remote; candidates may work from Russia and other countries. Preferred overlap: 9:00–15:00 CET, negotiable.

Salary: $3,400–$4,100 per month gross.

What you will do

• Take technical ownership of a Node.js/TypeScript backend, a large React application, and the SQL Server data layer.
• Deliver features end to end, from React forms and API contracts to stored procedures and database changes.
• Trace business logic across frontend, backend, and database layers and resolve production issues in established systems.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, write specifications, and keep documentation aligned with the code.
• Design integrations with external enterprise systems, including API versioning and backward compatibility.
• Review code and participate in technical decisions within a small engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems.
• Strong TypeScript, Node.js, React, Redux Toolkit or comparable state management, and data-fetching experience.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, execution plans, and direct SQL work without a full ORM.
• Experience designing API contracts and integrations, working with dependency injection, and becoming productive in an existing framework and codebase.
• Ability to write Vitest unit and integration tests against a real SQL Server instance, with awareness of authentication, authorization, tokens, and injection risks.
• Professional written English is required for specifications, documentation, and code review comments; spoken English is not required.

• Experience with enterprise or legacy integrations.
• Experience with database-driven runtime configuration.
• PostgreSQL experience.
