Regional Issue Manager (Automotive)

Location: Lindholmen, Gothenburg, Sweden. Applicants must have immediate, ongoing, and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden. The role requires travel in Europe and China, including 1–2 trips per year to China.

What you will do

• Own project quality, NPDS deliverables, issue tracking, milestone governance, and stakeholder reporting.
• Drive milestone and gateway reviews with project and quality leaders, ensuring deliverable reviews and NPDS compliance.
• Track the execution and implementation of SWIM, GQMP, JIRA, and New Star activities.
• Coordinate issue and action status across European departments and China engineering teams.
• Prepare quality, change request, milestone, and progress reports and presentations.
• Organize project meetings, document decisions, follow up actions, and deputize for the Project Leader when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive business, preferably in or near product development projects.
• Leadership, team coordination, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and regions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Professional English and valid full-time work eligibility in Sweden are required. Office 365 and Jira experience are required.

Nice to have

• Chinese language skills, particularly native-level Mandarin fluency.
