Technical Project Manager Electrical/Mechanical

What you will do

• Coordinate technical planning, design follow-up, construction support, commissioning support, and handover for electrical buildings within industrial projects.
• Coordinate interfaces between electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, telecom, security, engineering contractor, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Follow up on the design and integration of HV, MV, and LV substations, E-houses, electrical buildings, and industrial power distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, schedules, budgets, Swedish and European standards, and applicable regulations.
• Resolve technical clarifications, monitor technical risks and deviations, and contribute to mitigation plans and handover requirements.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical engineering projects, ideally in industrial, infrastructure, power, energy, mining, or steel environments.
• Experience with HV, MV, and LV substations, electrical buildings, E-houses, industrial power distribution, EPC or EPCM execution, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction or commissioning support.
• Knowledge of transformers, MV and LV switchgear, grounding and bonding, lightning protection, cable routing, HVAC for electrical rooms, fire protection, telecom, security systems, and related building services.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Fluent English required; Swedish is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate technical risks in complex projects.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Swedish engineering practices, authority requirements, permitting processes, and European standards for industrial electrical installations.
• Commissioning and energization experience for industrial electrical systems.
• Swedish language skills.
