Senior Databricks Data Engineer

Location: 100% remote within Poland

Rate: up to 38 EUR + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design and implement Databricks data processing solutions for large and diverse datasets.
• Build and enhance data pipelines using Python and cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define and maintain data engineering best practices.
• Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability in cloud-based environments.

Requirements

• Senior-level commercial experience in data engineering with hands-on Databricks expertise.
• Strong Python skills for automation and data transformation.
• Commercial experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced English and Polish required.

Nice to have

• SQL expertise, including query optimization and data modeling.
• DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or Bicep.
• Real-time data streaming experience with Kafka or Spark Streaming.
• Knowledge of Data Lake, Snowflake, or Synapse.
• PySpark experience and relevant Databricks or cloud certifications.
