Middle BigData Engineer (Databricks + Azure)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain batch and streaming ETL pipelines on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Build and optimize data processing solutions with PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Work with Databricks clusters, SQL Warehouses, Delta Lake, and bronze–silver–gold Lakehouse architectures.
• Apply data governance practices using Unity Catalog.
• Develop and deploy data solutions through CI/CD processes and work with Databricks SQL and Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of PySpark, Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Understanding of Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, Databricks clusters, and SQL Warehouses.
• Basic or practical knowledge of Unity Catalog, data governance, and CI/CD for data solutions.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Familiarity with Databricks AI/BI capabilities, including MLflow, Dashboards, Metric Views, or Genie.
