Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom, with typically 70% remote work and up to 30% travel.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery conversations, qualify customer requirements, and create bills of materials aligned with desired outcomes.
• Deliver technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, solution demonstrations, and whiteboarding sessions for partners and customers.
• Lead partner and customer proof-of-concept projects, remote product trials, and technical solution evaluations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with at least 10 channel partners, including VARs, MSPs, and MSSPs.
• Maintain a personal demonstration lab, support beta testing, and provide product feedback to product management.
• Support technical marketing, onboarding of new solutions engineers, regional sales enablement, and sharing of technical best practices.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United Kingdom.
• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5 years of experience with an MBA.
• Hands-on cybersecurity product experience in pre-sales, support, or professional services.
• CISSP certification; knowledge of hirify.global products, with SNSA and SNSP certification expected or supported through training.
• Experience with L2-L7 networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, encryption, PKI, WLAN, directory services, logging, virtualization, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong presentation, solution-selling, objection-handling, communication, time-management, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure or AWS Associate certification.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks including HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, and GDPR.
