🗄️ Hiring: Senior Database Architect / Lead Database Expert | Europe | Remote
We are seeking an experienced database professional to take ownership of database design, architecture decisions, system performance, and data protection within a long-term project.
📌 Position Overview
- Role: Senior Database Expert / Architect
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: 3 months + potential extension
- Workload: Full-time
- Location: Fully Remote (Europe)
- English: B2
🔍 Required Expertise
- 6–7+ years working with relational database technologies
- Strong background in database architecture and system design
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle, and MS SQL Server
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning
- Data modeling, normalization, and database schema design
- Familiarity with ORM frameworks: Entity Framework, NHibernate, and JSON Fliox
- Solid knowledge of database security principles, including authorization, encryption, and auditing
- Strong GDPR expertise is essential
- Consulting approach: ability to assess business and technical needs and recommend suitable database solutions

- Background in regulated sectors such as healthcare or pharma
- Experience designing compliance-oriented data architectures
