Client Executive – Business Insurance National Accounts

Location: Golden Valley, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work.

Base salary: $64,700–$120,400 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Service and retain an existing commercial book of business.
• Process daily servicing tasks, manage workload, and delegate tasks to team members.
• Support the marketing and placement of new and renewal commercial accounts.
• Review policy documents, coverage placements, policy forms, endorsements, and key policy language.
• Evaluate client needs, negotiate with underwriters, and develop client relationships.
• Demonstrate team leadership while working with the Client Director and Client Specialist.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Property and Casualty license.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance industry laws, products, coverages, and markets.
• Knowledge of insurance company working relationships, binding authority, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to review insurance policy documents, analyze policy forms and endorsements, and interpret policy language for client service and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships and retain accounts.
• Ability to evaluate client needs and negotiate with underwriters.
• Self-starter mindset, problem-solving ability, strong organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• CIC, CRM, ARM, or equivalent certification.
