SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Consultant (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with 40% office work, 40% home working, and 20% flexible working; approved work abroad is available for up to 3 weeks per year with manager approval

Gross annual salary: €60,000–€81,000, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance

What you will do

• Provide advanced functional support across SAP S/4HANA EAM, PS, DMS, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and SAP Field Service Management.
• Diagnose complex incidents, coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, and monitor system stability and performance.
• Manage user access and authorisations in line with compliance requirements.
• Coordinate software releases from planning and testing through validation, go-live, and post-release monitoring.
• Define test plans, execute or coordinate functional testing, and act as the quality gate for production changes.
• Perform root cause analysis, advise on functional design and process optimisation, and support continuous improvement across the SAP landscape.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of functional support experience in SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM, PS, DMS, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and/or SAP Field Service Management.
• Experience with release coordination, functional testing, incident management, root cause analysis, and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of ALM processes and tooling, release and change management, quality assurance, compliance, authorisation frameworks, and SAP integrations.
• Strong English and Dutch communication skills are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, business informatics, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
