Director of IT & Automation (AI)

What you will do

• Set the IT roadmap across enterprise technology, support, security, and automation.
• Lead IT support, endpoint management, major incident response, and the IT operating model.
• Own the configuration, integration, governance, and reliability of Microsoft 365 and other enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, Workday, Atlassian, AWS, Databricks, and Anthropic.
• Manage SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls, audit readiness, remediation, access security, and operational risk.
• Apply AI, agents, automation, and self-service to help desk triage, onboarding, provisioning, administration, and vendor management.
• Build the IT team and manage technology vendors, licensing, renewals, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience with significant leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading IT support and service delivery in a fast-paced technology, software, or services environment.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 and enterprise IT administration experience.
• Technical knowledge of enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, identity, and integrations.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, IT security governance, vendor management, negotiation, and technology spend.
• Demonstrated success turning AI and automation into working solutions for real IT problems.

Nice to have

• Deep AWS experience and cloud cost management.
• Administration experience with Salesforce, Workday, or Atlassian.
• Familiarity with Databricks or Anthropic.
• DevOps or SRE experience.
