Summer 2027 Internship - Information Technology

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States

Hourly pay: $28–$36 per hour, plus a monthly housing stipend and eligible overtime pay.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day IT support, including hardware and software troubleshooting, account provisioning, and helpdesk ticket resolution.
• Support endpoints, servers, network infrastructure, patching, backups, and asset tracking.
• Help implement and validate security controls such as MFA, endpoint protection, and access management.
• Support access reviews, system health checks, onboarding and offboarding, equipment deployment, and office technology.
• Contribute to documentation, software rollouts, systems migrations, process automation, and IT compliance readiness.
• Collaborate with IT, security, engineering, manufacturing, and scientific teams in a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical degree.
• Foundational understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT operations.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IT service management, ticketing, or asset management platforms.
• Exposure to scripting or automation with Python or PowerShell.
• Coursework or project experience in systems administration, networking, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of authentication, access control, and endpoint protection.
