Location: Remote within the United States, with a required working timezone between UTC -8 (Pacific) and UTC -3 (Brazil/Buenos Aires), inclusive. The role may require early and late calls to support colleagues across the Americas, Europe, Indonesia, and Africa.
Annualized compensation: USD $55,000–$127,500 gross, depending on geographic location and experience.

What you will do
- Develop and manage funder-facing communications that turn engagement strategies into fundraising narratives, messaging, and materials.
- Plan and implement donor communications in coordination with the Development Team.
- Create talking points, donor briefs, presentations, annual reports, newsletters, and staff preparation materials.
- Translate monitoring and learning into funder updates and stories of impact.
- Coordinate with Development, Program, Monitoring & Learning, and Communications teams to support outreach and convenings.
- Support review and approval processes to maintain consistent organizational communications and identity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of communications experience, including meaningful donor- or funder-facing work.
- Experience developing fundraising narratives, donor reports, or impact communications in a nonprofit or philanthropic context.
- Ability to translate complex strategy and technical content into clear messages for non-specialist audiences.
- Experience working with development or fundraising teams and understanding funder engagement cycles.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills at C1 or C2 level.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a remote, international environment, with occasional domestic and international travel.
Nice to have
- Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Indonesian language skills.
- Experience with climate, environmental, land use, or natural resources organizations.
