Graduate Talent (E-core CPU Physical Design)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

What you will do

• Implement hirify.global Atom E-core CPU core and CORE IP blocks from logic synthesis through post-layout verification and tapeout.
• Develop custom constraints for synthesis and auto-place-and-route tools.
• Perform floor-planning, routing studies, block and subsystem timing analysis, and implementation optimization.
• Apply low-power techniques and reduce power consumption at the subsystem level.
• Drive physical verification closure and create scripts for data analysis and implementation recipes.
• Collaborate with micro-architecture, RTL, and custom circuit teams to meet timing and power targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Undergraduate students pursuing a relevant bachelor's or master's degree may apply.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and at different levels of abstraction.
• Ability to contribute effectively in a high-performing team and deliver under aggressive schedules.
