Package Design Electrical Engineer (Signal Integrity)

Location: Hybrid role based at an assigned site in Penang, Malaysia, with an additional location in Kulim, Malaysia; employees split time between on-site and off-site work.

What you will do

• Manage package design electrical work, schedules, milestones, and stakeholder coordination.
• Gather electrical requirements and inputs from customers.
• Perform signal integrity and power delivery analysis.
• Recommend package design parameters and solutions that meet electrical requirements.
• Publish electrical design reports and obtain customer sign-offs.
• Drive innovations and efficiency improvements affecting cost, schedule, quality, and design performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical field theory and electronic fundamentals.
• Experience with electrical design analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS, Q3D, SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, or equivalent software.
• Experience with package or board CAD layout tools such as Cadence Allegro, Mentor Expedition, or equivalent software.
• Strong project management, multitasking, technical problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Good written, verbal, presentation, and teamwork skills.
