1st Shift Facilities Coordinator

Location: Columbia, South Carolina; on-site five days per week

Salary: $21.00 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain manufacturing site facilities, building infrastructure, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot building system failures, determine root causes, and coordinate or perform repairs and preventive actions.
• Review and schedule preventive maintenance work from the CMMS system, including inspections and contractor services.
• Develop scopes of work, review contractor quotes and contracts, award bids, and coordinate projects through final invoicing.
• Develop justifications for capital projects involving building systems and equipment replacement.
• Oversee on-site contractors, including security and housekeeping, and communicate site changes to internal customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; a technical degree is preferred.
• At least three years of facilities experience and three years of experience leading projects or people.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance experience.
• Ability to read building prints and electrical schematics and use lockout/tagout devices according to the plant plan.
• Strong communication, multitasking, customer focus, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to adjust schedules for site work.
