Crane Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; onsite second shift, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Salary: $22.38–$29.47 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour second-shift premium. A $2,000 sign-on and retention bonus may apply.

Manufacturing operations produce large electric rope shovels used in mining operations worldwide.

What you will do

• Operate 30-ton or larger overhead cranes and jib cranes to move heavy materials.
• Hitch, unhitch, raise, lower, and position loads using proper rigging techniques.
• Select and inspect chains, clevises, hooks, slings, and other rigging equipment.
• Receive, load, move, and store materials throughout the facility.
• Operate power lift trucks as needed and follow documented standard work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient work area.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience operating 30-ton or larger overhead or jib cranes.
• Successful completion of crane operator training and certification.
• Familiarity with rigging practices and material-handling safety standards.
• Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, on the second shift.
• Pre-employment drug screening and medical evaluation are required.
