Systems Engineering and Program Management Support

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States. US citizenship and an active Secret Clearance are required.

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Advise Senior Program Managers from contract award through Critical Design Review.
• Support program startup, contract activation, governance establishment, and administrative transitions.
• Translate startup requirements, execution data, budgets, and schedules into decision-quality analysis and strategic communication products.
• Formulate financial products and analytical baselines for early program execution and stakeholder reviews.
• Establish recurring reporting requirements and monitor compliant submissions from program inception.
• Identify execution risks, governance gaps, and disconnects between startup strategy and administrative readiness.

Requirements

• At least 10 equivalent years of experience in program management, systems engineering, or acquisition management within the national security space enterprise or government support/development contractor environments.
• Specialized knowledge of post-award execution, contract activation, program startup, and rapid prototyping programs.
• Experience analyzing early financial data, formulating financial products, and briefing senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and independent judgment skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, operations, mathematics, or a related field.
• Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship required.
