Director of Analytics (Credit Line Increase)

Location: Charlotte, NC; hybrid with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday. Baltimore, MD is also listed in the posting.

What you will do

• Develop and refine credit line increase policies that balance portfolio risk and growth.
• Analyze consumer lending credit data to identify portfolio trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate new data sources and act as the business customer for data science teams developing models.
• Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate new strategies and optimize outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and acquisition teams to implement end-to-end customer line strategies.
• Present insights, recommendations, priorities, trade-offs, and constraints to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of experience in consumer lending and credit analysis; a Master’s or PhD may offset experience requirements.
• Advanced analytical skills using SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and communicating with senior stakeholders.
