Credit Analyst

Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States

Employee-owned distributor serving electrical, automation, pipe, valve, fitting, steam, lighting, industrial controls, and instrumentation industries through eight divisions and more than 75 locations.

What you will do

• Manage open customer accounts and reconcile payment concerns.
• Contact customers to resolve delinquent payment issues.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify root causes for non-payment.
• Provide solutions to customers and Sales regarding open balances.
• Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior credit analysis experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and Excel, with strong critical-thinking and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to organize, multitask, shift priorities, and work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day; occasional travel may be required, at less than 5%.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience in B2B credit and collections.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• General knowledge of lien laws and related procedures.
