Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Canada; hybrid work model with in-office days in Toronto

What you will do

• Own the financial infrastructure roadmap from sizing and sequencing through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Improve payment health across success rates, processing speed, failure recovery, and reconciliation.
• Manage infrastructure partners, banks, payment networks, and processors, including partner changes and new payment rail launches.
• Partner with Engineering on APIs, data models, ledger interactions, controls, and observability.
• Coordinate card, payments, and banking products while balancing customer experience, reliability, risk, compliance, operational complexity, and commercial impact.
• Work with Design, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and GTM to build accounts, treasury, FX, payroll funding, and tax-remittance workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience at a startup or scale-up, including financial services infrastructure.
• Direct ownership of financial ledgering, money movement, or payments products.
• Experience leading major infrastructure changes while maintaining customer and compliance requirements.
• Strong project management skills across external partners with independent timelines.
• Comfort with APIs, data models, ledgers, observability, and practical use of AI in product work.
• Clear, proactive written communication and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Canadian or US payments experience, including EFT/ACH, Interac e-Transfer, bill payments, and wires.
• Experience working with sponsor banks, payment processors, and payment networks.
• Experience building business banking, treasury management, accounts payable, or accounts receivable products.
