Service Engineer Cuautitlan (Food Processing)

Location: Based in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico; travel to customer sites may be required up to 90% of the time. hirify.global does not offer visa or international relocation support for this position.

What you will do

• Install, commission, and validate the performance of capital equipment at customer sites.
• Lead complex installations, automation upgrade projects, preventive maintenance, and equipment restoration.
• Diagnose mechanical, electromechanical, and automation issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Provide production support and breakdown assistance to restore customer lines to operation.
• Train customer operators and maintenance teams, both onsite and remotely.
• Manage customer relationships, service contracts, reporting, safety, quality, and food safety requirements.

Requirements

• Background in mechatronics, automation, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to five years of experience in maintenance, service, installation, technical training, or practical engineering projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation principles, including PLCs or similar systems.
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites for up to 90% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and strong problem-solving, customer-service, collaboration, and learning skills.
• Intermediate written and spoken English is beneficial but not mandatory.
