Production Engineering Specialist (Electric Motors)

What you will do

• Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment, cycle times, and materials for electric motor manufacturing.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead projects meeting timeframe, quality, cost, and safety requirements.
• Approve internally and externally developed processes and perform final project tests.
• Support production during process and equipment start-up, including action planning and training for maintenance and production personnel.
• Evaluate new process technologies and lead testing, approval criteria, and external provider selection.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a technical background with extensive relevant knowledge.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years with electric motor winding processes; fully automated processes are preferred.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining automated systems involving PLCs, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance diagnostics, OEE, MTTR, MTTF, C++, SAP or ERP software, Office, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Solid.
• Spanish communication skills and fluent English are required.
