TL;DR
Network Security Engineer (Enterprise Cybersecurity): Operating and improving enterprise network security services across firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, segmentation controls, cloud network security, vulnerability remediation, and incident response with an accent on resilient and compliant managed-service operations. Focus on investigating security incidents, implementing governed changes, supporting cloud landing-zone controls, and developing automation for service quality.

What you will do
- Operate, monitor, and maintain enterprise firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and other network security technologies.
- Implement firewall, segmentation, VPN, and security policy changes using approved governance, testing, rollback, and validation procedures.
- Monitor threats, triage and investigate incidents, coordinate containment, and manage remediation activities.
- Support vulnerability remediation, compliance findings, audit actions, and operational reporting.
- Support cloud network security services, landing zone controls, and platform performance, availability, capacity, and resilience.
- Maintain technical documentation and develop automation, orchestration, and operational improvements while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and clients.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering enterprise firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, and network security technologies.
- Strong understanding of routing, segmentation, high availability, application flows, and network security principles.
- Experience analyzing security events, investigating incidents, and coordinating remediation.
- Experience with incident, change, problem, audit, and service reporting processes.
- Ability to support planned after-hours activities, incidents, and resilience exercises.
- Relevant practical experience in enterprise managed services or highly regulated environments is valuable.
Nice to have
- Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or equivalent firewall technologies.
- Experience with cloud network security, remote access, anti-DDoS, or SIEM platforms.
- Network security automation using scripting, APIs, or orchestration tools.
- Relevant security, networking, or cloud certifications supported by practical experience.
