Assistant Clinical Professor, Early Childhood Education

Salary: Up to $6,666.67 approximately monthly, or up to $60,000.03 approximately annually.

What you will do

• Teach courses that prepare future early childhood educators.
• Mentor preservice teachers and provide field-based supervision.
• Support experiential learning and responsive, engaging early childhood practices.
• Build partnerships with schools, families, and communities.
• Contribute to program development and service at the department, college, and university levels.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong record of teaching excellence.
• Experience teaching, supervising, and advising students.
• Familiarity with educator certification standards.
• Experience building school-university partnerships and supporting students from varied backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Doctoral or terminal degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Three or more years of early childhood classroom teaching experience from pre-kindergarten through third grade.
• Experience working with or advocating for underserved populations.
• Undergraduate teaching experience and active professional organization involvement.
• Experience with instructional technology and online course development.
