What you will do

• Provide nursing care in a 24-bed neuroscience intermediate unit.
• Care for patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spinal disorders.
• Support patients with traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizures, and central nervous system infections or inflammation.
• Care for neurosurgical patients after aneurysm repair and spinal surgery, including patients with cerebrospinal fluid leaks and lumbar drains.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, patient-focused care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Employment requires completion of a background check.
