Senior Hardware Quality Engineer (PCB)

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite role

Salary: $98,003–$163,339 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium may apply depending on assignment.

What you will do

• Perform final inspections, product selloffs, and witness environmental and operational testing.
• Participate in design reviews, customer reviews, audits, vendor surveys, and engineering change activities.
• Review and approve purchase documents, manufacturing orders, drawings, inspection instructions, and test procedures.
• Chair material review and corrective action boards and resolve quality issues with production and methods teams.
• Develop statements of work, proposal cost estimates, program plans, budgets, and estimates to complete.
• Maintain statistical process controls, quality procedures, records, and special-process audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 9–12 years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and AS9102 standards.
• Experience with root cause corrective action methods, including 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, meters, counters, frequency meters, and logic analyzers.
• Must have a background that would permit the US Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when required. ITAR-controlled products and technical data are restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
