Chief Integrator (Satellite Control)

Location: On-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and periodic travel to Government, operational, supplier, test, or mission sites.

Salary: $210,000–$246,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical integration for a critical Satellite Control telemetry, tracking, and command mission capability.
• Connect operational needs, acquisition strategy, architecture, prototyping, integration, testing, cybersecurity, transition, fielding, and sustainment.
• Advise Government executives, acquisition leaders, mission owners, and technical decision makers using evidence-based options, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
• Set priorities for senior subject-matter experts, reconcile discipline-level recommendations, and drive cross-program decisions through closure.
• Develop technical direction plans, enterprise roadmaps, architecture views, integration assessments, readiness findings, and executive briefings.
• Coordinate programs and organizations to resolve technical risks, protect modularity, and deliver an integrated capability that can be operated and sustained.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline and at least 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated technical integration leadership across complex defense, space, intelligence, national security, or other mission-critical systems.
• Experience advising executive-level Government or corporate leaders and translating technical evidence, uncertainty, dependencies, and risk into decisions.
• Experience directing senior engineers, architects, operators, cybersecurity professionals, testers, logisticians, or other specialists without formal supervisory authority.
• Working knowledge of mission architectures, system interfaces, interoperability, defense acquisition, prototyping, test and evaluation, RMF, accreditation, transition, and sustainment.
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance are required at the time of hire.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems architecture, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Experience with U.S. Space Force, Satellite Control, TT&C, space-ground integration, command and control, or mission infrastructure.
• Experience with modular open architectures, digital engineering, model-based methods, technology-readiness assessments, or competitive prototyping.
• Current Special Access Program eligibility or experience.
