UX/SDK Software Engineer (Quantum Computing)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software components and user interfaces for quantum algorithm development tools.
• Own key components of the algorithm development pipeline and improve workflows with the quantum algorithm team.
• Build reliable, well-documented SDKs, libraries, and developer tools for internal and external users.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of models and simulations to HPC and cloud servers.
• Assess design trade-offs across quantum algorithms, the compilation stack, and hardware processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering commercial-quality software from hardware to end-user interfaces.
• Strong programming experience with Python and at least one of C, C++, or Rust across multiple platforms.
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, testing, maintaining, and profiling commercial-quality software.
• Experience with custom SDKs and developer tooling.
• Ability to write readable, dependable, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborative communication skills and experience in startup or fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with quantum computing, Qiskit, or OpenQASM.
• Experience with HPC, acceleration, and parallelization.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, web services, or UI frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related discipline.
