Senior UAT Tester

What you will do

• Act as the central liaison between business users, project managers, QA teams, developers, and other stakeholders during UAT cycles.
• Translate business requirements and process flows into UAT scenarios, test cases, scripts, and test plans.
• Coordinate UAT schedules, resources, kick-off meetings, stand-ups, status meetings, and test cycles.
• Support users with test execution, data setup, result validation, documentation, and defect logging.
• Lead defect triage, track UAT metrics, and communicate risks, findings, recommendations, and readiness for go-live.
• Support user sign-off, contingency planning, post-implementation validation, and continuous improvement of UAT processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in user acceptance testing, business analysis, or QA for software implementation or enhancement projects.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and UAT best practices.
• Experience creating UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts from business requirements and process flows.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments.
• ISTQB, CBAP, PMP, or other relevant testing, business analysis, or project management certification.
