Director of AI Product Management, Platform

Location: Hybrid schedule based in the South Charlotte, North Carolina or New York, New York office

Total cash compensation: $215,0000–$305,000 per year; New York City: $268,750–$381,250 per year. Equity is offered separately.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for an enterprise AI agent platform used by internal teams and regulated enterprise clients.
• Define capabilities for agent authoring and promotion, MCP-based tool and data connectivity, identity and access, governance, observability, cost management, and deployment.
• Build business cases, assess feasibility and ROI, sequence workstreams, and align product, engineering, business, and client stakeholders.
• Track business impact, communicate progress and risks, gather technical and qualitative feedback, and improve reusable platform capabilities.
• Lead and develop product managers at multiple levels, including providing coaching, feedback, analytical support, and performance expectations.

Requirements

• End-to-end experience delivering AI/ML products and owning business outcomes.
• Deep technical and architectural fluency across models, agent harnesses, tool protocols, memory, evaluation, and runtime infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with production-grade AI systems, including model evaluation, SQL and Python analysis, agent infrastructure, runtime troubleshooting, and architecture reviews.
• Experience making complex platform decisions with engineering teams, internal stakeholders, regulated clients, and security or compliance teams.
• Experience managing product managers, including managers of managers.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule from the South Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office.

• Experience working with regulated enterprise environments and client approval processes.
• Experience designing governance-by-default infrastructure and scalable platform abstractions.
