Product Strategist (AI)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States. Hybrid working requires being in the office or on a client site at least 2 days per week, with assignments potentially requiring up to 5 days per week on a client site.

What you will do

• Lead client discovery to identify operational challenges, lost value, and opportunities worth pursuing.
• Define product requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
• Translate business challenges into digital products, AI-enabled solutions, and intelligent workflows.
• Shape AI applications by determining what to automate, where human oversight is needed, and how outcomes should be evaluated.
• Drive adoption by aligning stakeholders, supporting change, and helping clients redesign processes.
• Create reusable approaches, assets, industry insights, and marketable capabilities for future engagements.

Requirements

• Experience in product management, product strategy, consulting, or a similar role delivering technology-enabled solutions.
• Experience leading discovery, shaping product direction, building business cases, and demonstrating value realization.
• Deep expertise in at least one industry sector and the ability to work with operational and executive stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled products, including agents, retrieval approaches, automation, and the limitations of modern AI systems.
• Experience delivering technology solutions from concept through implementation and adoption with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, commercial judgment, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting, professional services, or an industry leadership role.
• Experience in healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, energy and utilities, transportation, or consumer industries.
• Experience with change management, operating model design, process transformation, or technology adoption.
• Experience using data, analytics, AI tools, SQL, Python, or similar approaches for decision-making and product strategy.
