Implementation Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Remote for candidates living in Chicago, Illinois; must live close to a major airport. Regional travel throughout the Midwest is required, with up to 60% travel during the back-to-school season and up to 40% during the rest of the year.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year, plus potential bonus eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with district leaders and school teams to support successful IXL implementations.
• Create and execute professional development plans aligned with district initiatives.
• Deliver live and virtual training sessions for teachers and administrators.
• Analyze implementation and usage data to guide decisions and define next steps.
• Travel regionally to facilitate in-person professional development and conduct quarterly district visits.
• Partner with Sales on customer relationship management, pilots, and pre-sales opportunities.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 5+ years of K–12 teaching experience.
• 2+ years of experience providing professional development.
• Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, self-direction, and quick learning skills.
• Must live in Chicago, Illinois, close to a major airport, and be able to travel throughout the Midwest.

Nice to have

• Experience in instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech professional development.
• Experience supporting district implementations.
