Trade Desk Associate (Fintech)

Location: Mostly on-site in Kansas City, Missouri, or Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $68,000–$88,000 annual base salary, plus potential incentive compensation and long-term equity participation.

What you will do

• Perform daily system checks, review audit logs, and monitor production, disaster recovery, and certification environments.
• Escalate platform anomalies and support live communications about system and trading issues.
• Provide first-level customer and exchange support for order processing, market structure, platform features, cancellations, clearing, and client onboarding.
• Monitor auctions and rotations and assist with block trade and ECRP support.
• Use SQL and UNIX shell tools to query databases, examine logs, gather data, and prepare reports.
• Update operational documentation and participate in weekend industry testing when needed.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional experience; internships, coursework, or academic projects in financial services or technology are relevant.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, business, financial services, communications, or a related discipline.
• FINRA Security Industry Essentials Examination (SIE) and Series 57 licenses are required, or must be obtained within the first eight months of service.
• Basic familiarity with SQL or UNIX shell environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Internship, coursework, or academic project experience in financial services, technology, or a related field.
