Technical Solutions Specialist (Geophysicist) (Geophysics/Technical Solutions): Supporting sales teams and customers through geophysical solution design, product demonstrations, training, and technical advice with an accent on potential field methods, data interpretation, and Seequent software. Focus on analysing customer requirements, designing effective workflows, explaining complex geophysical tools, and leading technical engagements across geoscience applications.
Location: Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom; hybrid work with two days per week in the local office and the remainder home-based

What you will do
- Provide technical support and geophysical subject-matter expertise to regional sales teams and customers.
- Build expertise across Oasis Montaj, Res2D/3D, Workbench, Central, and other solutions.
- Analyse customer workflows and problems, then recommend effective solution designs and technical approaches.
- Lead in-person and web-based product demonstrations and training for technical and executive audiences.
- Partner with sales teams to develop opportunities and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with customers.
- Support webinars, market development, CRM accuracy, customer satisfaction, product upgrades, and new-product introductions.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in geophysics and a tertiary qualification in geophysics, geology, earth sciences, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of geophysical principles, processing, data interpretation, gravity, and magnetics.
- Experience in UXO, environmental or contamination investigations, groundwater or near-surface geophysics, mineral exploration, or consulting.
- Hands-on experience with Oasis Montaj, Res2DInv/3DInv, and Workbench.
- Experience in consulting, customer-facing, or pre-sales roles, including leading technical customer engagements.
- Confident written and spoken English is required, together with strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and workload-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with electrical or electromagnetic methods such as ERT, IP, or EM.
- Familiarity with geospatial or 3D modelling workflows and Python.
- Technical-content creation and exposure to emerging geophysical or data-driven approaches.
- Additional EMEA languages.
