Staff Technical Program Manager – Infrastructure Maintenance & Change Management (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States

Salary: $177,000–$237,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own fleet-wide reliability and operations programs across compute, networking, data center, and operations teams.
• Establish reliability metrics and dashboards covering failure rates, MTTR, incident trends, capacity availability, and utilization.
• Align engineering and operations teams on reliability OKRs, program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
• Identify systemic reliability gaps across hardware, firmware, software, networking, storage, and operational processes.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve fleet delivery, readiness, operational stability, and sellable capacity as the fleet scales.
• Lead incident reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of technical program management experience in large-scale compute infrastructure, cloud, or platform environments.
• Experience designing programs for rapidly growing infrastructure fleets that can withstand 2x, 5x, or greater growth.
• Strong technical understanding of compute, storage, networking, hardware, or SRE domains.
• Ability to use data and metrics for prioritization, execution, and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting. Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status, eligibility without export authorization, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining the required authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale environments and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of SLI/SLO frameworks, error budgets, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with hardware failure diagnosis, vendor coordination, and replacement lifecycle management.
• Background in observability, monitoring, or telemetry systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience managing fleet provisioning, firmware and operating system updates, and decommissioning at scale.
