Principal Technical Program Manager - Developer Infrastructure & Productivity

Location: Remote in the Americas; hiring is available in countries where hirify.global has a legal entity. Listed US locations include San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, and New York.

US base salary: $169,569–$221,382 in Zone C, $183,870–$240,053 in Zone B, or $204,300–$266,725 in Zone A, plus potential benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Shape and deliver high-priority, complex programs for Developer Infrastructure & Productivity teams.
• Translate business objectives, customer needs, and product adoption challenges into technical systems problems and strategic roadmaps.
• Define and lead programs involving capacity planning, migrations, high availability, network architecture, performance optimization, and reliability improvements.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, product, design, finance, legal, security, IT, and transformation leaders.
• Manage programs end to end, including initiation, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, dependencies, and delivery.
• Establish reusable program-management systems and mechanisms while coaching others.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience on software teams as a Development Manager or Technical Program Manager.
• Experience defining and running complex technical programs end to end.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into technical programs.
• Technical understanding of system flows, block architectures, APIs, and areas such as storage, networking, authentication, capacity management, and service deployments.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical discipline.
