Project Development Manager (Construction)

Location: Hard Rock Metropolitan Park Hotel & Casino; significant on-site and field presence required.

Annual salary: $117,900–$159,000.

What you will do

• Support procurement, bid package preparation, contractor proposal evaluation, scope reviews, bid leveling, contractor interviews, and project team onboarding.
• Manage assigned portions of a complex ground-up development through construction, closeout, and operational turnover.
• Coordinate Construction Managers, design consultants, contractors, specialty vendors, and internal stakeholders across project workstreams.
• Monitor construction progress, schedules, milestones, quality, safety, project standards, RFIs, submittals, action items, and field coordination.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, payment application and change order reviews, commitments, contingencies, and financial reporting.
• Prepare status reports and executive updates while supporting inspections, commissioning, testing, training, punch-list development, and closeout documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of construction and project management experience.
• Experience working on complex ground-up construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience collaborating with Construction Managers, trade contractors, consultants, and specialty vendors.
• Ability to review construction documents, schedules, cost reports, and change management documentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or comparable project management platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering luxury hotels, resorts, hospitality developments, entertainment venues, theaters, destination retail projects, or other high-end commercial developments.
• Experience supporting projects exceeding $100 million in construction value.
• Experience working within an owner's organization, developer, or institutional real estate environment.
• Familiarity with complex phased construction and large multidisciplinary project teams.
• OSHA 30 certification.
